Veterans Go Outdoors' mission is simple. We take Veterans to the outdoors to aid in their recovery from military related stressors.

​

VGO has hosted several events since establishment as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in January of 2018. At these events there are volunteers that assist participants as they learn the techniques of fly fishing and to help with hospitality.

​

With a laid back atmosphere and 3 days, 2 nights of time there is plenty of fishing to go around. Many lasting friendships have developed over the years and many more will in the future.

VGO provides free of charge at each event:
Lodging, food, equipment, and licensing
